This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for strength,security,durability and function of electrical and electronic components for all types of electromechanically operated locks and striking plates used on doors,window doors and entrance doors in buildings.

本欧洲标准规定了建筑物内门、连窗门及入户门上使用的各类机电操控锁体和锁扣扣板所用电子电气元件的强度、安全性、耐久性及功能方面的要求与试验方法。

Requirements relating to the purely mechanical feature of products included in this European Standard(e.g.resistance to drilling/side load)are covered by EN 12209.

本欧洲标准中涉及产品纯机械性能的要求（如抗钻孔 / 抗侧向载荷性能）由EN 12209标准涵盖。

This European Standard covers electromechanically operated locks and striking plates which are either manufactured and placed on the market in their entirety by one producer or assembled from sub-assemblies produced by more than one producer and designed to be used in combination.

本欧洲标准适用于机电操控锁体及锁扣扣板，此类产品既可由单一制造商完整生产并投放市场，也可由多家制造商生产的组件装配而成，且设计为组合使用。

This document is not applicable to electrically powered hold-open devices(EN 1155),electrically controlled panic exit systems(prEN 1 3633)or electrically controlled emergency exit systems (prEN 13637).It does not apply to purely magnetic ocks,mechatronic or mechanical cylinders (EN 1303),handles(EN 1906),locks for windows,padlocks(EN 1 2320),locks for safes (EN 1300),furniture locks or prison locks,nor does it apply to cover operating and identification devices (such as mechanical cylinders,intelligent cards,digit codes,magnetic cards).

本文件不适用于电动保持开启装置（EN 1155）、电控紧急疏散系统（prEN 13633）及电控应急出口系统（prEN 13637）；亦不适用于纯磁力锁、机电一体化或机械锁芯（EN 1303）、门把手（EN 1906）、窗用锁、挂锁（EN 12320）、保险柜锁（EN 1300）、家具锁及监狱用锁，同时也不适用于操控与识别装置（如机械锁芯、智能卡、数字密码、磁卡）。

This European Standard does not,for the time being,apply to electromagnetic door locks but these devices will be considered for inclusion in the first revision of this European Standard

本欧洲标准目前暂不适用于电磁门锁，但该类产品将在本标准首次修订时考虑纳入适用范围。

有且仅有1个认证：模式 1，由欧盟公告机构进行测试和工厂审核后发证

制造商职责：	Factory production control (FPC)工厂生产控制;
	Further testing of samples taken at the factory工厂取样的进一步检验
Notified Body 公告机构职责：	Initial inspection of factory and FPC 工厂和FPC的初始检查;
	Continuous surveillance, assessment and approval of F.P.C. 持续监视、评估和批准F.P.C.
