The thermal insulation board made of silica- or polyurethane-aerogel on a carrier material (in the following refered to as thermal insulation board) consists of an open-porous silica- or polyurethane-based aeroge with typically over 90 V.-% of air pores which can be applied to a carrier material during the manufacturing process. As the end product a board is obtained from the carrier material and the raw materials of the aerogel. Polyurethane-based materials are used as carrier materials. The product is not covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN). Already published harmonized standards for insulation products are not applicable to the products covered by the EAD due to the product properties, structure, manufacturing process, chemical composition or a combination of those aspects. In particular, the methods and criteria for assessing the reaction to fire (including propensity to undergo continuous smouldering) and thermal conductivity are specifically adapted to the products covered by this EAD. Even though the product is not covered by a harmonised standard or EAD many of the assessment methods for insulating products are applicable directly or with modifications.

该产品并不适用于一项统一的欧洲标准(hEN)。已发布的绝缘产品统一标准由于产品特性、结构、制造工艺、化学成分或其组合等原因，并不适用于本EAD所涵盖的产品。特别是，评估产品对火焰反应(包括持续发生闷烧的倾向)和热传导性能的方法与标准，都是专门针对本EAD所涵盖的产品而特别调整的。尽管该产品并未被纳入某项统一标准或EAD范畴，但针对绝缘制品的许多评估方法均可直接适用或经适当调整后加以应用。

Concerning product packaging, transport, storage, maintenance, replacement and repair it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to undertake the appropriate measures and to advise his clients on the transport, storage, maintenance, replacement and repair of the product as he considers necessary.

关于产品的包装、运输、储存、维护、更换和修理事宜，制造商有责任采取相应措施，并在其认为必要的情况下向客户提供有关产品运输、储存、维护、更换及修理方面的建议。

It is assumed that the product will be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions or (in absence of such instructions) according to the usual practice of the building professionals.

Relevant manufacturer's stipulations having influence on the performance of the product covered by this European Assessment Document shall be considered for the determination of the performance and detailed in the ETA.

What is an EAD?什么是EAD？

A European Assessment Document, or EAD for short, is a harmonised technical specification developed by EOTA as the basis for European Technical Assessments (ETAs).上海郜盟提示欧洲评估文件（简称EAD）是由欧洲技术认证组织（EOTA）制定的统一技术规范，作为欧洲技术评估（ETA）的基础。

The CE marking allows the manufacturer to freely market his product in the entire European Economic Area as well as in Switzerland and Turkey.
