Type approval is a process in the European Union that assesses vehicles, systems, and components to ensure they meet legal and technical standards. This process ensures that the type approval is acknowledged across all member states, facilitating the free movement of goods within the EU.

型式认证是欧盟的一项流程，用于评估车辆、系统和零部件，以确保其符合法律和技术标准。这一流程确保型式认证在所有成员国中得到认可，从而促进欧盟内部商品的自由流通。

WVTA认证流程

The process in 8 steps: WVTA认证分为8个步骤：

1. Initial assessment: Once the Manufacturer has successfully completed the initial assessment procedure, he prepares the vehicle or component for type approval. 初步评估：一旦制造商成功完成初步评估程序，便准备车辆或部件以申请型式批准。
2. Selection of Technical Service: The Manufacturer selects a designated Technical Service to conduct the necessary tests and inspections. 技术服务的选择：制造商选择指定的技术服务方来进行必要的测试和检验。
3. Test and inspection: The Technical Service performs various tests and inspections to verify compliance with EU standards. 测试与检验：技术服务部门执行各种测试和检验，以验证是否符合欧盟标准。
4. Test report: The Technical Service compiles a detailed report on the test results and submits it to type-approval authority. 技术服务部门编制一份有关测试结果的详细报告，并将其提交给 型式认证机构。
5. Assessment by type-approval authority: type-approval authority reviews the report and assesses whether the vehicle or component meets all regulatory requirements. 型式认证机构 评估：型式认证机构 审查报告并评估车辆或部件是否符合所有监管要求。
6. Granting of type approval: If all requirements are met, type-approval authority grants the type approval and issues the necessary certification. 型式批准的授予：若所有要求均得到满足，型式认证机构 将授予型式批准并颁发必要的证书。
7. The granting type approval authority: This approval enables Manufacturers to market their vehicles, systems, or components in Europe. The Approval Authority, monitors Manufacturers to ensure compliance with regulations, ensuring their products meet and continue to conform to these requirements. 型式批准授权机构：此批准使制造商能够在欧洲市场销售其车辆、系统或零部件。该授权机构对制造商进行监督，以确保其遵守相关法规，保证其产品符合并持续符合这些要求。
